These are the rules for the Monthly ARAM Tournament. We make every effort to ensure the rules are complete and up to date but this may not always be the case. By enlisting your team for a tournament you automatically agree with these rules. The rules are a guideline and the decisions by admins may differ from them depending on the circumstances. If you have any questions about the rules, please contact us.

1. Screenshots

A screenshot of the scoreboard must be taken after each match. In general, you should upload the screenshot from a match to the match page as soon as possible. Faking or manipulating screenshots is of course forbidden and will result in severe penalties.

2. Settings

2.1 Server

All matches are to be played on the EUW servers.

2.2 Map Settings

All matches are to be played on 'The Proving Grounds' with following settings:
Map: The Proving Grounds
Teamsize: 5
Pickmode: All random

3. Match Rules

3.1 Play Modes

3.1.1 Best of Three

All games, except for the semi-finals and finals, will be Best of Three.
Teams have to switch sides after each match.
Teams will have to decide themselves who starts on what side.

3.1.2 Best of Five

The semi-finals and finals will be Best of Five.
Teams have to switch sides after each match.
A coin flip will decide who gets what side to start.

3.2 Game Preparations

Please resolve any problems that might occur before a match starts.
Connection or Hardware Problems during a match could lead into a disqualification by tournament admins.

Agreements between the teams/players have to posted as comments when reporting the outcome of the match in the bracket.

Make sure the match is played with the right settings (see 2.2).

Make sure all players are eligible to play.
All players of the team have to be enlisted in the team.
A team can not change it's roster after it has enrolled in a tournament.

The usage of a team foreign player, unless approved by admins, can lead into a rematch or disqualification.

Depending on the case, a tournament admin will take further action.

3.2.1 Game Account

All players enlisted must be level 30.
Accounts made especially for ARAM are not allowed.
All players must have their most recent Summoner Name enlisted.
A wrong, missing or outdated Summoner Name can not lead to disqualification but has to be changed as soon as possible (if needed contact admins).

3.2.2 Choosing the game host

Both teams are allowed to host the game.
Use the 'Team List' to get the Summoner Names of the team you're playing.
Add them ingame or check the 'ARAM Tournament' ingame chat room to contact them.

3.3 Ingame

3.3.1 Number of players

Matches should be played 5v5.
If a side is missing a player the match can be played 4v5 or 4v4 if both teams agree.

3.3.2 Player disconnects

When a player disconnects in Champion Select the game will be remade with the same picks.

If a player disconnects during the game, the game will continue.
He has to return as soon as possible back to the game and continue playing.

3.3.3 Rematch

Teams can play a rematch if they believe it's needed to play a fair and balanced match or to solve technical problems.

A rematch has to be played with the same picks.

If it's impossible for a player to reconnect due to a bug the game has to be remade and a screenshot of a bug has to be mailed to the admins.

3.3.4 Executing

Executing is allowed in this tournament.

3.5 Spectators

Spectators are allowed if both teams agree.
Exception of this rule are tournament admins and people that are explicitly allowd to spectate by a tournament admin.
It can't be refused to invite a tournament admin if he asks you for an invite.

3.5.1 Personal Streaming

Personal streaming is always allowed except for the semi-finals and finals.
These game will be casted by the official tournament casters and broadcasted on the official twitch.tv channel.
